Telemedicine Platform Development was a European patient operations platform that I joined during the final stage of delivery. The project already existed, but it needed fast improvements in stability, performance and overall reliability.
Project details. The system supported patient workflows, consultation-related operations and PDF-based form handling. It was built on a legacy Laravel codebase and required quick analysis under delivery pressure.
My contribution. Even without prior Laravel experience, I analyzed the existing structure, fixed bugs, simplified CRUD flows and worked on performance optimization and code quality improvements across the backend.
I improved stability through Firebase-supported workflows, added user-facing enhancements and optimized the PDF generation and download flow, which was a critical part of the product experience.
This project is a strong example of stepping into a fragile system late, understanding it quickly and still shipping meaningful improvements on time.
